Husan Abdurakhimov
I am an intern in the Integrative Systems Biology (ISB) group at the Department of Biomedical Engineering (IMT), supervised by Prof. Gunnar Cedersund, with co-supervision from Prof. William Lytton, MD at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. My work focuses on pharmacokinetic modeling in Parkinson’s disease, where I develop predictive models using Python, SUND, and NetPyNE. I hold a BSc in Biomedicine and combine my background in biomedical sciences with quantitative approaches in neuroscience, mathematics, and statistics to better understand disease mechanisms through computational modeling.
